Great views from upper floors

The hotel is conveniently located with beautiful views and friendly service, making it a pleasant stay. However, the room was quite small, and the air conditioning was noisy at times, which affected comfort. Great for short visits or exploring nearby attractions.

Oh man, the pizza at Land & Lake Kitchen? Total game changer—fresh and from scratch, hit the spot! Plus, the staff were super friendly and the shower was fantastic, making the whole stay a delight.

Now, on the flip side, the AC was louder than the city nightlife, making sleep tricky. I had hoped for a high room but scored a lower floor, which wasn’t exactly what I planned. Still, it didn’t ruin the vibe too much.

The staff was friendlier than a golden retriever, offering helpful tips and even checking in on us during our stay. Great location right on the river, perfect for exploring downtown. My small queen room had a comfy bed, flat-screen TV, and private bathroom. Loved the refillable water stations on each floor and the complimentary coffee on the second floor. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The location of the River is excellent, right in downtown Chicago with major attractions within walking distance. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the river. The staff was friendly and assisted with my work-related needs efficiently.

We had such a wonderful time exploring the Shedd Aquarium during our stay! The kids were fascinated by all the aquatic animals, especially Ellie, the friendly sea otter. The hotel brought us closer to all the fun activities, and every staff member made sure we were comfortable.

My wife says that the hotel could improve by providing daily housekeeping services for larger families. It would have made our stay much easier with multiple teenagers and children running around.

Elevator wait times can be excessive!!! !!! Room sizes are disappointingly small!!! Housekeeping policies feel more like an inconvenience than a service!!!

Loved the view from my Small Queen Room! Clean and comfy stay, perfect for exploring the city. Only downside was the compact size of the room. 🌆
